My drunken grandfather, S.J. “Ted” Kozloski of Smock, PA underwent a similar behavioral modification for his drinking habit. Each time he exited Morris Bortz’s Beer and Cheese Emporium, a man from Alcohol Cessation, Inc. would smell his breath. If there was beer present, he would be flogged mercilessly with a Cat o’Nine Tails. It took Grandfather Ted seven years to quit, but it was worth it.
