ON THIS DAY in 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first human beings to set foot on the moon. The lunar inhabitants are still trying to sweep up all the messy footprints our astronauts left all over their nice clean moon, and they finally closed the moon to visitors in 1972.
